Partnerships between manufacturers allow the creation of very interesting ecosystems, by allowing users to benefit from each other's expertise. Today, Yale, the home security pro, and Ajax Systems, one of the largest European manufacturers of security systems, have just announced the extension of their partnership to 30 more countries!
This partnership started strong this year, and was already in place in five European countries (Norway, Sweden, Spain, Portugal and Italy). Now, it will reach even more people. And if I talk about it today, it's because France is of course part of it!
Yale Linus L2: new connected lock
Why is this news so exciting? Well, Yale recently launched its latest model of connected lock, the Linus L2, which I will be offering you a review of very soon. This little marvel is not only more durable and quieter, but also twice as fast as the old version! It remains very easy to install (still no modification necessary on the lock) and you can remove it without leaving any traces if necessary. It is ideal for anyone who wants a practical solution without the hassle.
Imagine being able to lock and unlock your door without ever having to look for your keys (and being able to share virtual ones with your friends or family)!
All control of the lock is of course possible from the Yale mobile application. It is so practical to have total control over who can enter your home! But all this is also possible now directly from the Ajax app!
Centralization of security in Ajax
Ajax is an alarm system that I particularly like, and this for several years now, because it is modern, efficient, and very complete.
With this partnership, the Yale lock integrates with the Ajax system to complete the home security. And with this integration, you benefit from ultra-smooth and secure Cloud-to-Cloud communication. You can check the status of your lock, receive instant notifications if something changes and even access a detailed event history. All this directly from the Ajax app!

Before adding a Yale smart lock to an Ajax system, it must first be added to the Yale app and paired with the Yale Connect Bridge. The Yale Connect Bridge connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi, allowing users to manage the lock, check its status and receive instant notifications in the Yale app. Once integrated with an Ajax system, you can manage and automate the Yale smart lock directly from the Ajax app. The fast communication ensures a seamless user experience.

The lock can trigger an automation scenario in the system as well as execute commands. For example, when you open the lock, the security system is disarmed. When you close the lock, light indicators show that it is armed, and the water supply is cut off.

Now, control and automation via Ajax is available with most Yale Wi-Fi-enabled smart locks (including, but not limited to, popular models like Linus and Doorman).
In short, this Yale-Ajax partnership is great for simplifying users' lives and ensuring maximum security. We love it!
We'll talk about it in more detail very soon. But if you are equipped, you can already take advantage of it!
