That's it, the price of electricity has (again) increased by almost 10% for the vast majority of French people. As a result, EcoFlow has decided to permanently reduce the prices of its flagship products, to help French consumers cope with the increase in electricity prices. A decision that can only be welcomed, in these times when everything tends to increase!
In order to cope with this increase in electricity prices, more and more French residents are turning to photovoltaic products such as solar balcony systems for self-consumption, in order to reduce their expenses thanks to the production of solar energy. EcoFlow, as a leading manufacturer of green energy solutions, launched last year the PowerStream balcony solar kit. The PowerStream, which we tested, is fully modular, allowing users to choose and assemble components such as the microinverter, solar panels, portable power stations and smart plugs according to their needs, without having to buy the entire set at once.
The PowerStream is the solar system kit for balconies integrating a portable charging station, allowing users to save energy during the day and use it day and night, thus offering significant energy savings compared to balcony solar systems without a portable charging station. This is a solution that really appealed to me, and that I still use today. I am also looking forward to an ongoing integration: that of Shelly devices. The connected sockets should be integrated into the Ecoflow application, but especially the modules with metric clamps capable of monitoring the home's electricity consumption. Thus, the EcoFlow system will be able to inject the energy actually required by the home, without having to adjust the injection manually. A detail for some, but which will really help to optimize the system.
At a time when electricity prices are increasing for the first time this year in France, EcoFlow is announcing a permanent reduction in its prices to help more people adopt a photovoltaic self-consumption lifestyle. The price of the PowerStream has therefore dropped from €369 to €299, and users can benefit from this price reduction by purchasing it on the EcoFlow website and on Amazon. At less than €300, I might just snap up a second one :)
