At CES 2023, Signify announced several new Philips Hue products: new outdoor lighting solutions, and the launch of a new app with Samsung for creating unique entertainment ambiances! Ambilight arrives on Samsung TVs Signify announced the launch of the Philips Hue Sync TV app for Samsung TVs. This new app allows movie lovers and gamers to enjoy a seamless lighting synchronization experience with all the content viewed on your TV, including native streaming apps such as Netflix and Disney+. With this collaboration, Samsung and Philips Hue are now offering new, innovative and immersive experiences to better enjoy TV, movies, and games. The new Philips Hue Sync TV app synchronizes Philips Hue connected lighting products with everything viewed on the Samsung TV. Users can enjoy a seamless and immersive light synchronization experience for every entertainment moment at home. The app supports all image formats such as 8K, 4K and HDR 10+. A Philips Hue Gradient LED strip, and you have a Samsung TV with Ambilight lighting, previously reserved for Philips TVs :) And of course, this lighting can be synchronized with all the other lighting in the range present in the room if desired, to create total immersion.

This new Philips Hue Sync TV application offers various functions for creating tailor-made ambiances: users can adjust the intensity of synchronization, adjust the brightness of the light, select video or game mode, activate automatic start, etc. Philips Hue users can enjoy the best home theater experience by creating an entertainment zone in the Philips Hue app on their mobile device: the setup is simple, they select the lights they want to synchronize, then drag them to position them in relation to their TV.

The Philips Hue Sync TV app is now available for download on Samsung QLED TVs 2022 and newer from the Q60 range or higher. The app can be purchased and downloaded to various TVs from the App Store on your Samsung TV. And it comes at a price: €129! While you'll save on the cost of a Hue Sync box, the price is still steep for an app :/
New outdoor lighting products and a new switch
Philips Hue has also unveiled new lighting solutions to its catalog. With a sleek black design, a new version of the Philips Hue Resonate wall light offers warm to cool white light with a direct beam (directed downwards) for all your outdoor spaces. The wall light can bring new light to porches or patios or create a warm welcome when placed near the front door. The light beam can be narrowed with the included clip to create a more defined space, perfect for narrower walls or pillars. This Philips Hue Resonate wall light will be available starting January 24th for €119.99.The Philips Hue Tap Dial switch is now available with a new miniaturized round bracket as an alternative to the square wall bracket. Smaller and more discreet than the standard bracket, this bracket also gives you the flexibility to mount the wireless remote control wherever you like: on the wall like a regular switch, on furniture, or on metal surfaces like a refrigerator.
This new version will be available starting March 14th for €49.99.
Finally, as announced last year, the new Philips Hue Go is finally here. Whether you're reading in bed or dining on the patio, the portable Philips Hue Go light helps create the right ambiance indoors and out. It will be available at the end of February 2023 for €159.99.
