SunAéro solar heating goes online and obtains official certification

You may remember SunAéro, this innovative solar heating system that we presented during its crowdfunding campaign? Well, it's back today with two excellent pieces of news that are sure to raise the temperature (no pun intended)! Not only has it just been awarded a prestigious certification, but it has also been given a digital facelift that will delight home automation enthusiasts.

A game-changing certification

SolarKeymark certification, obtained on December 1, 2024, is no mean feat. It's like the Holy Grail of solar thermal solutions! Tests carried out by an independent laboratory revealed exceptional performance: thermal efficiency in excess of 70% with 180 m³/h of renewed air volume.

The connected revolution is underway

But the real star of the day was the new SunAéro app (and yes, you can't do anything without your smartphone these days). This little marvel lets you monitor your room's heat output and humidity levels in real time.

(I have to admit I'm partial to this kind of innovation, which combines ecology and technology!)

The free app displays all the essential data: room temperature, heat output, air flow rate and humidity level. A real energy dashboard in your pocket! And this is just the beginning: remote control and a summer air cooling function are already in the pipeline.

An installation that won't make you sweat

The system remains true to its “Plug & Play” philosophy. Four holes in the wall, a few fixings, and you're done! And the best part? No need for an electrical connection – the sun does all the work.

Whether you've got a 20m² bedroom or a 60m² living room, SunAéro adapts! You can combine up to three panels for a maximum output of 1500 watts. Each panel brings 500 watts of free heat to your home.

Heart-warming performance

Let's talk numbers (because we need them): the system provides between 3°C and 5°C extra heat, which translates into savings of up to 35% on your energy bill.

Operation as simple as a sunbeam

The principle is disconcertingly simple: outside air enters from below, heats up on contact with the solar absorber, and is blown into your home by controlled ventilation. The system starts up automatically as soon as the temperature permits, and stops when the sun goes down.

A French innovation with an eye to the future

Manufactured in Carnoules, in the Var region of France, by a team of passionate engineers, SunAéro comes with a warranty of up to 25 years. Now that's what I call thinking ahead!

The Wi-Fi connection opens up new prospects, especially for second-home owners who can now monitor their property's energy performance remotely. No more stress about radiators running on empty!

This latest development from SunAéro shows that French innovation in the field of renewable energies has not finished surprising us. The combination of solar thermal energy and connectivity paves the way for smarter, more economical energy management of our homes. And that's really cool (or hot, in this case)!
