TheEcoflow Powerstream is one of the best systems currently available, allowing solar production to be injected into the home while storing the surplus on a battery from the brand. It's a solution that really won me over, so much so that I bought a second one. The only downside: the system was unable to automatically modulate the amount of energy injected into the home circuit, as a Zendure systemdoes, for example. But thanks to its partnership with Shelly, it's now possible!
EcoFlow has just announced the integration of its innovative solar kit for balconies, PowerStream, with the Shelly 3EM smart energy meter, one of the Shelly group's main energy measurement solutions. This collaboration brings a really interesting improvement to energy management, allowing users to exploit solar energy more easily and more efficiently.
The integration of Shelly's solutions with PowerStream represents a significant step forward in intelligent energy management. This collaboration enhances our users’ ability to accurately monitor and control their energy consumption, ensuring optimum efficiency and convenience. This reflects our commitment to providing innovative solutions that meet the changing needs of modern homes.

Seamless integration with Shelly 3EM for advanced energy management
The EcoFlow PowerStream solar kit, the world’s first balcony PV system with a portable power station, is at the forefront of smart energy management. This cutting-edge system is now fully compatible with the Shelly 3EM smart meter , allowing users to monitor and manage their entire household’s energy consumption via the EcoFlow app. This facilitates precise control of energy consumption, ensuring that each appliance receives the exact amount of energy required, while excess solar energy is stored for later use.
Furthermore, later this year, the PowerStream will also integrate with the
Shelly Pro 3EM , providing a solution that is suitable for a wider range of users.
Enhanced Control with Shelly 3EM and EcoFlow Smart Plug
The PowerStream system works simultaneously with the Shelly 3EM and EcoFlow Smart Plug. The Shelly 3EM monitors whole-home energy usage and optimizes power distribution, while the EcoFlow Smart Plug provides real-time monitoring and remote control of individual devices. Users can effortlessly manage their energy usage via the EcoFlow app, turning devices on or off remotely for added convenience and peace of mind.
Flexible Energy Usage
The EcoFlow app’s energy priority settings allow users to make the most of their solar energy. With a single click, they can choose to prioritize the power supply to their home when they are present or to charge the power station first, reserving energy for later use. This flexible approach allows energy needs to be met efficiently and sustainably.

Here we select “Shelly” of course, then we identify ourselves with our Shelly user and password.

We then access the list of our devices, which we can or cannot add to the Ecoflow application to integrate them. As we can see, Ecoflow already supports many devices, including Shelly connected sockets. It is not limited to the 3EM!
After adding, we find the Shelly devices perfectly integrated into the Ecoflow application:

Devices capable of monitoring energy consumption can be used to optimize the injection and storage of solar production. And all Shelly devices can be used in Ecoflow scenarios, which is very practical!

And Ecoflow clearly does not intend to stop there! As you may have noticed in the screenshot above, the manufacturer has also integrated Tapo devices as well as Google, including the Nest thermostat:
And as a reminder, Ecoflow sockets have been Matter compatible from the start. The manufacturer therefore has big plans for the connected home, this is just the beginning of the features :)
